Mark V Studio – Greenville Music Preservation

from 1961 to 1990, mark v studio was a nationally respected producer of music for many recording artists and labels. some of the earliest recordings of modern gospel, rockabilly, and country music were done at mark v. many of the artists in the gmp archive recorded here, like moses dillard, ann sexton, the trav'lers, and many others.

currently there are a few online sources for the mark v discography, but they are far from complete. we are compiling a list that we hope will be complete within the next year. if you have any mark v records and wish to send us the information, especially dates, please visit the archive submissions page. for now, discogs is a good source, but ours will have playable links to the music as well. stay tuned…
